Job summary

Reuters is seeking an experienced Operator #2 for our Eagan printing plant. You will review specs, set up processes, monitor machinery, and troubleshoot to ensure high-quality output. The role includes directing others, maintaining safety, and contributing to continuous improvement on the Core Publishing Solutions team.

The position offers second shift hours (2:30 pm–10:30 pm) with occasional overtime and weekend shifts, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days in role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Experience leading and training others in an industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills with troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with Lean/continuous improvement principles.
• Able to read and interpret safety, maintenance, and production documents.

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and setup requirements.
• Set up tasks and oversee their execution on the line.
• Monitor equipment and product quality throughout the run.
• Troubleshoot machine and product issues; escalate as needed.
• Document activities and maintain inventory accuracy; verify loads.
