Stellar Energy Americas Inc. is seeking a 1st Class Structural Fitter for 2nd shift in Jacksonville, FL (or Fort Worth, TX). The role requires the ability to read blueprints, cut and fit heavy structural steel, and weld-ready assembly per job specs.

Qualifications

• Basic math and language skills are required.
• Experience with threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging and plasma cutting.
• 5+ years related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and verify target measurements, square/true checks.
• Cut, fit and tack metal pieces to weld-ready status per drawings.
• Prepare surfaces for welding using torches and grinders.
• Install structural hangers, supports, and braces as needed.
• Direct and monitor two or more helpers; ensure quality and safety.
• Operate overhead cranes or forklifts and follow rigging procedures.
• Document quality reporting per SEA standards.
