Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Marine engineering.
• 0–5 years of engineering experience.
• 2nd shift availability required.

Responsibilities

• Develop build strategies, methods and fixtures for fabricating submarine components.
• Create details and designs for tools and fixtures and manufacturing procedures.
• Support deckplate construction and alignment of critical installations.
• Work on VIRGINIA Class, Overhaul/Repair and COLUMBIA Class projects.
• Interact daily with Groton, Quonset Point, Newport News teams and vendors.
