Job summary

NetApp is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for the 2nd shift to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair NetApp E-Series, Grid, ONTAP Core, and related product lines, supporting customers and field staff.

Location options include RTP, NC or Wichita, KS; this is a second shift, on-site role in a data-center environment, with opportunities to learn across multiple NetApp platforms and features.

Qualifications

• Respond to post-sales customer issues via multiple channels and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Respond to post-sales support issues via phone/email/web chat or internal systems.
• Monitor and respond to alerts on customer systems and raise cases via Active IQ/AutoSupport.
• Research customer issues and provide recommendations and action plans.
• Troubleshoot NetApp hardware/software across multiple products.
• Analyze multi-platform logs to identify root causes and resolve problems.
• Collaborate with peers to resolve cases quickly and escalate when needed.
• Create and share knowledge base articles for reuse by the team.
