Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a NetApp Ontap Storage Grid Engineer for a hybrid role in Charlotte, NC with additional sites in Chandler AZ, Irving TX and Des Moines IA. The position is a long-term W2 contract to support file and object storage initiatives.

The candidate will work with senior engineers on complex technology initiatives, act as SME for NetApp Storage Grid and related products, and contribute to automation and high-availability storage operations across data centers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience
• Storage Grid, NAS and SAN experience
• PowerShell experience
• Experience with Agile Scrum and datacenter migrations
• Collaborate with teams to document solutions and develop automation

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technology initiatives directly supporting File and Object storage.
• Act as SME for NetApp, Storage Grid, Oracle ZFS.
• Collaborate with technical experts to document solutions and develop automation.
• Support enterprise storage infrastructure operations with high availability and performance.
• Assist with datacenter migration efforts.
