Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• SPD experience (minimum 6 months) or completion of an SPD certification course.
• Must attain HSPA or equivalent Sterile Processing Certification within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates sterilizers and cleaning equipment per manufacturer specs and policy.
• Maintains records of sterilization cycles and results.
• Rotates through case cart preparation and instrument assembly for surgery.
• Inspects packages/trays for damage and ensures proper handling for OR transport.
