Job summary

Bachoco Group in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Shipping Supervisor for the 2nd shift responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing transportation related to production distribution, moving materials on site, packaging, and warehouse movements.

The role supervises 6-10 staff, requires prior supervisory or lead experience in par fry, fully cooked, further processing, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred.
• Relevant supervisory or lead experience in par fry, fully cooked, further processing operations preferred.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Bi-lingual in English / Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and arrange movement of materials on-site.
• Responsible for all paperwork as required on inbound and outbound loads.
• Transfer goods and materials in the system.
• Manage operations at off-site warehouse.
• Oversee movement of product on production floor.
• Resolve problems concerning raw materials and packaging materials.
• Maintain freezer and cooler inventory and assist with monthly inventory.
• Oversee time entered for payroll of department employees.
