Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Receiving Associate for the 2nd shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm MT) to manage receipt and shipment of material ensuring compliance with customer requirements. The role includes labeling, data entry into automated systems, and basic reporting under mentorship.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three months general work experience, and the ability to obtain a license to operate material handling equipment within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months general work experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection.
• Position may require travel and ability to pass Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, examines, classifies, accepts, rejects, and disposes of material per regulations.
• Visual examination or use of measuring devices under mentoring.
• Read specifications and photographs per DLA contract.
• Load material on/off skids, pallets, stands and prepare labels.
• Input data to automated receiving/shipping systems; operate MHE if licensed.
• Prepare basic reports.
