Job summary

Amentum is hiring for a Receiving - 2nd Shift position in Utah. The role focuses on processes for receiving and shipping materials to ensure items meet customer requirements, with mentoring on inspection, documentation, and safe handling.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 3 months general work experience.
Must obtain MHE license within 30 days of selection.
Must complete Inert Certification training requirements.

Responsibilities

Identify, examine, classify, accept, reject, and dispose of material per regulations.
Visually inspect or use measuring devices under mentor guidance.
Apply basic inspection/examination procedures for material.
Read specifications and photos as required in DLA contract.
Use blueprints/schematics under mentoring of senior staff.
Load/unload material on/off skids, pallets, stands.
Prepare labels as required.
Prepare basic reports.
Operate tools/equipment in duties.
Receive/input data to automated systems for receiving/shipping.
May operate MHE with appropriate license.
