Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Receiving - 2nd Shift worker in Ogden, UT to support receipt and shipping of material, ensure items meet customer requirements, and document data accurately. The role involves basic inspection, labeling, and handling on a fast-paced shop floor under supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with at least 3 months of general work experience, and the ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months general work experience; no specific experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required; education may substitute experience.
• Must obtain an MHE license within 30 days of selection.
• Occasional travel and ability to pass security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, examine, classify, accept, reject, and dispose of material per regulations.
• Visual inspection and measurement with mentoring from senior staff.
• Read specifications and photographs for DLA contracts as needed.
• Read blueprints/schematics under supervision and prepare labels.
• Load/unload material, count, weigh, and input data to systems.
• Operate tools and equipment and perform basic reporting.
• Possess or obtain required licenses for material handling equipment.
