Job summary

AUTOKINITON in Auburn, Indiana is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate for 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm). This full-time, hourly role is part of the Materials team and reports to the Shipping Supervisor.

You’ll receive all incoming shipments and prepare/outgoing part shipments in a timely manner, entering data in the computer as necessary. Responsibilities include coordinating forklift movement, assisting in cycle counting and inventories, serving as liaison for customer communications,

Qualifications

• Shipping experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming shipments and document outgoing shipments.
• Coordinate material movement via forklift and assist in cycle counting.
• Liaise with customers for shipping communications.
• Assist in processing returns.
• Communicate shipping requirements and discrepancies to the plant.
• Coordinate shipping needs with other shifts.
