Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a highly organized Shipping & Receiving Clerk for our automotive manufacturing operation on 2nd shift. You will ensure smooth materials flow, on-time shipments, and accurate documentation, collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, and Production to uphold safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in a related field is a plus.
• 2+ years of materials, warehouse, or logistics experience.
• Experience overseeing or coordinating teams of 10+ is an asset.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, WMS, transportation management, and shipping/receiving workflows.
• SAP or MRO experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation providers to ensure on-time, accurate movement of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Review purchase orders, shipping documents, bills, invoices, and PORs to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
• Maintain dock scheduling, ensuring materials are received and shipped at the correct times.
• Receive incoming goods, verify accuracy and coordinate with Quality inspections when required.
• Perform warehouse management activities and support inventory accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service and cross-functional support.
• Train forklift operators on OP Mobility processes and participate in retraining/recertification.
• Support employee scheduling, rotation plans, and hours/OT tracking to ensure staffing aligns with budget.
