Job summary

AUTOKINITON in Auburn, Indiana, is seeking a Material Handler for the 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. shift. This full-time hourly role moves materials inside and outside the plant, operates a forklift, and ensures parts are placed at work stations.

You will also perform daily paperwork and safety tasks, with overtime on some days and weekends. Starting wages are $22 per hour with a shift premium. The position reports to the Production Supervisor and offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Forklift experience in a production/manufacturing setting preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Move materials inside and outside of the plant as required.
• Drive a forklift outside throughout the year.
• Ensure parts and containers are placed at work stations as required.
• Empty trash for appropriate disposal.
• Contribute to a clean and safe work environment.
• Monitor and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Process hourly/daily paperwork as required.
• Check fluid levels, change LP tanks using PPE and charge truck batteries.
