Job summary

VF Corporation in Kentucky is seeking an Operations Lead for Shipping and Receiving on the second shift (4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m., Sunday–Thursday) to coordinate daily distribution center activities and lead associates toward safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role directs shipping and receiving tasks, provides training, monitors productivity and service levels, and supports the leadership team in achieving departmental goals while ensuring adherence to procedures and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, distribution center or yard experience required.
• Ability to operate yard tractor (hostler) or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Prior yard driver or CDL experience preferred.
• Experience with WMS or RF scanning systems preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize daily shipping and receiving activities to meet operational goals.
• Provide work direction and support to associates throughout the shift.
• Monitor department productivity, quality, and service levels.
• Assist in training new associates and support cross-training.
• Escalate issues to leadership when needed.
