Job summary

Dakkota Integrated Systems in Detroit, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support material flow and logistics on our 2nd shift. This on-site role handles inbound/outbound shipments, inventory control, and documentation to keep production and delivery on track.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing logistics experience, strong computer skills (Excel/Word), and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics in manufacturing preferred.
Strong computer skills; proficient in Excel and Word.
Experience with inventory or ERP systems.
Experience with shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and ASNs.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound material receipts including ASNs and verify documentation.
Review supplier shipping documentation against received materials and report discrepancies or damaged freight.
Prepare outbound shipping documentation including bills of lading and packing slips to ensure accuracy.
Coordinate daily customer shipments and provide carriers with the appropriate documentation.
Enter packing slip and shipment data into company systems and maintain accurate records.
Prepare and process parcel shipments (FedEx, UPS) and manage related reports.
Support plant inventory activities and assist with material flow or logistics issues.
