Job summary

TI Automotive is seeking a Shipping Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Kentucky to lead shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations. You will direct warehousing activities and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate inbound materials and supervise a team, focusing on inventory accuracy, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with Production, Planning, Customer Service, Quality, and Maintenance.

Qualifications

Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in shipping, warehousing, logistics, or materials management.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with inventory control systems, cycle counting, and warehouse operations required.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily shipping, receiving, warehouse, and inventory control operations.
Ensure customer shipments are prepared, verified, and shipped accurately and on time.
Coordinate inbound material receipts, including raw materials, packaging, and purchased components.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation activities.
Monitor warehouse organization, storage locations, and material flow.
Lead, train, coach, and develop Shipping and Receiving team members.
Establish daily work assignments and staffing plans to meet operational demands.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies and inventory variances.
Coordinate transportation activities with carriers to support delivery requirements.
