Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Shipping Coordinator for the Montpelier, IN area on first and second shifts. Training on the 1st shift, then 2:00 PM–10:00 PM with a starting rate of $24.72 per hour plus a 5% shift differential.

You’ll coordinate material movement, prepare shipping documents, verify accuracy, and ensure timely delivery for production schedules. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in shipping/logistics, strong ERP and shipping software skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and shipping software.
• Experience preparing shipping documents and carrier coordination.
• Knowledge of domestic shipping requirements; export compliance awareness preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound/outbound movement of materials to meet production schedules.
• Prepare shipping docs: packing slips, bills of lading, export docs.
• Verify part numbers, lot traceability, packaging and labeling.
• Monitor shipments, resolve delays, update stakeholders.
• Schedule carrier pickups and obtain freight quotes.
• Execute ERP shipping transactions and maintain shipping records.
