Job summary

Montpelier, IN — Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator for 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:00 PM). Starting pay is $20.11/hour plus shift differential, with sign-on bonus and retention bonus ($250 at 90 days and another $250 at 1 year).

You will work as a Shipping Product Handler on the production floor, operating forklifts to move product, loading/unloading trucks, and logging shipments. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with overtime flexibility and prior warehouse/forklift

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Prior Warehouse/Forklift experience preferred.
• Mathematical ability (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Good communication skills (read/write/speaking).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift/PIV to move product.
• Load and unload trucks for shipping and receiving.
• Log entries into computer when applicable; complete daily reports.
