Vollrath Company in Kiel, Wisconsin, seeks a sheet metal operator for the 2nd shift starting at 2:00 PM. You'll perform shearing, forming, punching, deburring and spot welding to meet quality standards.
Candidates must be comfortable reading sketches and process sheets, set up layouts, and perform inspections. You should provide your own basic tools and be ready to train on the 1st shift if needed. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered.
2nd Shift Hours- Start: 2p, End: 10:30p to 12:30am
Pay- $25.13/hour
Sign-On Bonus- $3,000
Must be willing to train on 1st Shift.
Set up and perform a wide variety of sheet metal operations involving shearing, forming, punching, deburring, and spot welding to achieve quality standards. Plan your sequence of activities working from sketches, blueprints, process sheets, established procedures, schedules, and general discussions. Perform complex layouts, setups, and inspections to achieve quality standards. Initiate corrective action to resolve complex problems with templates and tooling and make adjustments as required. Perform own material handling and follow good housekeeping and safety practices. Assist and advise others as required. Perform other miscellaneous duties as required. Provide own basic tools to efficiently perform the job.
