Job summary

IDEX is seeking an Assembly Manufacturing Technician for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) to build, test, inspect and package semiconductor filtration products. You will operate specialized equipment, maintain cleanliness, and ensure traceability of serialized products.

The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow strict work instructions. Overtime and weekend work may be required and training will cover numerous processes and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education is beneficial.
• Prior manufacturing, assembly, machining, inspection, equipment operation experience preferred.
• Experience with cleanroom, semiconductor, medical device, aerospace, or other controlled manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including furnaces, laser marking, pressure tester and bubble point testing.
• Perform in-process testing, visual inspection and permitted rework, dimensional verification, and final cleanliness inspection.
• Complete equipment logs, process records, serial-number traceability, customer labels, and quality documentation accurately.
• Perform defined preventive maintenance, equipment checks, fitting changes, and cleaning activities.
• Identify, document, and escalate equipment, process, quality, and cleanliness abnormalities.
