Job summary

IDEX is seeking a dependable 2nd shift Production Utility team member to support manufacturing operations. You will operate production equipment, perform quality checks, and complete required documentation from 3pm to 11pm, contributing to safe and efficient product flow from start to finish.

This role emphasizes hands-on work, attention to quality, and a pathway to grow in a manufacturing environment within our Value Stream.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred; 3–12 months of related experience is helpful.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Experience using micrometers, verniers, calipers, scales, or similar inspection tools is helpful.
• Ability to wear a respirator when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to training, work instructions, quality standards, and standard shop practices.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify products meet specifications.
• Use testing equipment to complete required quality checks, including bubble point, leak, flow, and differential pressure testing.
• Set up and use inspection tools and test equipment accurately at the workstation.
• Complete required production documentation and system transactions accurately and on time.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns, process issues, or barriers that may impact safety, quality, delivery, or production goals.
• Support smooth product flow through the Value Stream and assist with handoffs between process steps.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and quality-focused work area.
