Job summary

IDEX is hiring a 2nd shift Production Utility team member to support manufacturing operations within our Value Stream. This hands-on role involves operating production equipment, performing quality checks, and completing required documentation to keep products moving safely and efficiently from start to finish.

You will use testing equipment for bubble point, leak, flow, and differential pressure checks, and you will follow safety procedures while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred; three to twelve months of related experience is helpful.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Experience using micrometers, verniers, calipers, scales, or similar inspection tools is helpful.
• Ability to wear a respirator when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to training, work instructions, quality standards, and standard shop practices.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify products meet specifications.
• Use testing equipment to complete required quality checks, including bubble point, leak, flow, and differential pressure testing.
• Set up and use inspection tools and test equipment accurately at the workstation.
• Complete required production documentation and system transactions accurately and on time.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns, process issues, or barriers that may impact safety, quality, delivery, or production goals.
• Support smooth product flow through the Value Stream and assist with handoffs between process steps.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and quality-focused work area.
