Responsibilities

• Vacuum carpeted areas
• Dry/wet mop floors
• Clean lavatory fixtures
• Collect and dispose of refuse
• Clean chalkboards and whiteboards
• Clean windows and glass surfaces
• Remove snow/ice from sidewalks
• Maintain grounds surrounding building
• Prepare gym and other areas for outside groups
• Lock doors before leaving
• Keep classrooms and custodial closets secure
• Assist head custodian with repairs
• Remove spills or stains from floors and stairs
• Dust shelves and counters
• Clean classrooms nightly
• Maintain locker rooms
• Perform other duties as assigned
