LIBERTY UNION-THURSTON LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is looking for a custodian for the 2nd shift. The role requires holding a high school diploma, effective communication, and the ability to follow procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in school facilities, handling waste and cleaning, ensuring the safety and maintenance of the premises, and demonstrating a helpful attitude towards students and staff. Candidates must successfully pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalency.
• Ability to follow written and oral procedures.
• Must be neat and clean.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Submit a satisfactory background check as requested.

Responsabilités

• Mop corridors near the entrances as soon as students are in their classrooms.
• Empty wastebaskets.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, and drinking fountains.
• Sweep the cafeteria floors and arrange seating after lunch.
• Clean staircase and classroom sinks.
• Pick up debris from the grounds and maintain neat outdoor areas.
• Dust school and office rooms, including shelves and window sills.
• Replace light bulbs as required.
• Remove snow and ice from all entrances and exits.
