Siena Catholic Schools of Racine is seeking a reliable Custodian for the 2nd shift at St. Catherine's High School in Racine, WI.

This full-time role requires cleaning classrooms, hallways, offices, gyms, and other areas, with a schedule that shifts from 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM on school days and 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM on non-school days. The position emphasizes safe work practices, ability to operate cleaning equipment, and coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of building services/maintenance experience in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment used in schools.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform custodial tasks in classrooms, hallways, lobbies, washrooms, offices, cafeterias, gyms, and other areas.
• Complete daily work task checklist and report progress to Supervisor.
• Participate in summer cleaning program including floor stripping/waxing and deep cleaning.
• Move furniture as needed and assist in event setup and teardown.
• Shovel snow and perform grounds care; operate floor cleaning equipment.
