Main Duties & Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE: To perform a variety of operational functions that constitute the production, inspection and distribution of products or services for our customers.
- Willingness to perform routine PM and maintain housekeeping in work cell.
- Operator will assist in material flow of the Spinning and other departments.
- Will be responsible to evaluate non-conforming parts to determine downgrading or scrapping of parts.
- Willingness to work as a team member in both Fabrication and Finishing areas.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to use hand tools and ability to complete written reports.
- Knowledge of work instructions.
- Ability to check blueprint drawings or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, and determines sequence of operations.
- Ability to set up fixture of feeding device, start machine, and start spin cycle.
- Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of work piece to design specifications and quality standards.
- Ability to modify program using a Windows based environment to manufacture per product specifications.
- Ability to verify programs prior to release for production.
- Ability to set up, program and operate Computer programmed machines and robotics. Programming and Robotics experience a plus.
- Ability to direct flow and temperature of torch to work piece.
- Ability to operate, saw, and identify billet cup by size and symbol.
- Ability to visually inspect all cut parts for defects, dents, nicks, scratches and off square cuts and ability to maintain counts on cut parts.
- Ability to make adjustments to robots to maintain a smooth flow of processes and products.
- Job will require a forklift license.

- Experience, Competencies and Education Must possess an education or experience level that permits the employee to effectively communicate and perform duties, assignments and responsibilities of the job.
