Tyson Foods is seeking a sanitation associate for the 2nd shift at the Newbern, TN plant. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing work areas, assembling and disassembling equipment, and maintaining a safe, SQF-compliant environment under USDA inspection.

Qualifications

• Must work in temperatures at or below 35°F for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Lock Out/Tag Out certification.
• 6 months continuous employment in last 18 months; 6 months production/related experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment while following safety policies.
• Use high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals to clean floors and areas.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and USDA and adhere to SQF 2000.
• Set up and break down equipment and maintain dry pickup area.
• Work schedule may include weekends and overtime.
