Job summary

Diamondback America is seeking a Sandblast/Powder Coat General Laborer for 2nd shift. You will be responsible for blasting parts finished by CNC machines, deburring, cleaning, and ensuring quality of final products.

Responsibilities include loading abrasive materials, preparing surfaces for coating, masking, lifting heavy items, and maintaining equipment. Background checks and ATF firearm possession compliance are required per special requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating machinery.
• 1+ years in manufacturing or related environment.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Shovel or pour sand, grit, or other abrasive material into the machine and monitor hopper.
• Assist in preparation for the powder coat process (etching, rinsing, sanding).
• Prepare surfaces and mask areas for abrading action.
• Lift and set up heavy equipment and parts onto racks or into cabinets.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report hazards.
• Maintain sandblasting equipment and change nozzles.
