Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation in Hobart, IN is seeking a 2nd Shift Sales Order Picker to accurately identify and pull materials and deliver them to the requested destination as part of our order fulfillment team.

The role requires safe operation of material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and strong teamwork. This is a full-time position with a 2:00pm–10:30pm schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience operating forklift equipment a plus
• Experience with inventory a plus

Responsibilities

• Picking parts of various size, shape, and weight according to sales orders
• Placing parts carefully in kits to avoid damage.
• Delivering part orders to the requested packaging area.
• Meeting expectations for number and accuracy of sales orders picked.
• May be required to use material handling equipment forklift, stand-up forklift, Big Joe, following all safety rules.
• Maintaining safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Reading and maintaining information in the inventory system, ensuring accurate records.
• Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.
• Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
