Job summary

Daifuku Co., Ltd. in Hobart, Indiana, is seeking a dedicated Sales Order Picker for a full-time, 2nd shift role (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm–10:30pm).

You will accurately identify and pull materials, assemble kits, and deliver orders to the packaging area, supporting our intra-logistics solutions. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and, while not required, forklift experience or familiarity with inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment a plus.
• Experience with inventory a plus.

Responsibilities

• Picking parts of various size, shape, and weight according to sales orders.
• Placing parts carefully in kits to avoid damage.
• Delivering part orders to the requested packaging area.
• Meeting expectations for number and accuracy of sales orders picked.
• May be required to use material handling equipment forklift, stand‑up forklift, Big Joe, following all safety rules.
• Maintaining safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Reading and maintaining information in the inventory system, ensuring accurate records.
• Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
• Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
