Wayne Metals, LLC in Indiana is seeking an operator to set up and run robotic welding cells to produce high-quality welded components in accordance with customer specifications and company standards.

You will program, monitor, and adjust welds, inspect the work, and perform routine maintenance while adhering to safety policies. This role supports production targets in a factory setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating robotic welding equipment.
• Knowledge of MIG/GMAW welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Familiarity with welding codes and quality standards.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, fumes, and dust.

Responsabilidades

• Set up robotic welding cells and fixtures.
• Load and unload parts into fixtures.
• Start, monitor, and adjust weld programs.
• Perform routine maintenance and tool changes.
• Inspect welds for quality and appearance.
• Identify and report malfunctions and safety issues.
• Maintain 5S in the work area and follow PPE requirements.
• Meet production, quality, and efficiency standards.
