Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Full Time 2nd Shift RN Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing and oversee clinical operations on the assigned shift. You will help ensure efficient, safe nursing care and drive positive outcomes, patient/family and staff satisfaction.

You will report to the Director of Nursing and lead staff, participate in recruitment, and mentor team members to uphold high standards of care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license.
• Minimum three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience.
• Minimum two years in long-term care nursing with one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification and RN license.

Responsabilités

• Report to the Director of Nursing.
• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, practice standards and regulations.
• Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff for safe 24/7 care, minimizing overtime and agency personnel.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, mentor staff, and make recommendations for promotions, transfers and terminations.
