Job summary

Baxters North America, Inc. is seeking a Retort Operator for the 2nd shift at the East Bernstadt, KY facility.

The role focuses on overseeing sterilization processes and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities include operating the retort oven via LCD menus, loading/unloading trays, scheduling workloads, and monitoring gauges for PSI, temperature, and water flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load the retort oven with the correct recipe via LCD menu.
• Load/unload trays into the retort oven.
• Schedule workload and oversee cooking process by monitoring PSI, temperature, and water flow.
• Log batches and counts for computer entry.
• Verify the log sheets for accuracy during and after shifts.
• Perform duties as listed on SWES and/or training register.
