Job summary

Baxters North America Inc in East Bernstadt, KY is seeking a Retort Operator 1 (1st Shift) to supervise the cooking process and ensure products are fully sterilized and of top quality.

You will load/unload trays, load recipes from LCD menus, schedule workload for retort ovens, and monitor gauges for PSI, temperature, and water flow. You will log batch data and verify records at shift end, following SWES and training register guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trays into the retort oven.
• Access and load recipes on LCD screens.
• Schedule workload for retort ovens.
• Monitor gauges: PSI, temperature (F), and water flow (GPM) and adjust as needed.
• Log batch start/stop times, tray counts, and entry into tracking sheets.
• Verify logs for accuracy at shift end.
• Perform other duties as listed on SWES and/or training register.
