Job summary

Cherry Health in Michigan is seeking a Residential Shift Supervisor to oversee the Residential Care Coordinators on the assigned shift. The role ensures custody, security, and orderly operation of the residential facility while enforcing policy.

You will supervise staff, approve timecards, coordinate monthly RCC meetings, monitor budgets, and support admissions, orientation, and discharge of residents. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s in Human Services, CPR, three years of direct care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Three years direct care experience required.
• Experience in mental health, substance abuse, or correctional-type residential program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to all Residential Care Coordinators on the designated shift.
• Approve timecards and PTO requests for direct reports.
• Coordinate/conduct RCC meetings and attend All Staff Meetings.
• Ensure staffing and expenditures stay within budgetary guidelines.
• Oversee the admission, orientation, supervision, and discharge of residents.
• Oversee discipline for infractions and client searches.
• Assist with after-hours on-call emergency response.
