Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is hiring for a Shipping Repack/Packoff position on the 2nd shift in Walker, MI. You will repack parts from storage into customer containers, print and label new containers, and follow work instructions to meet quality and packaging standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to read, write, and understand English. You will work Monday through Friday, 2PM–10PM, with occasional overtime to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform duties and follow work instructions.
• Requires high standards of performance, responsibility, thoroughness, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Repack various parts into different containers.
• Print and label new containers via Plex.
• Complete one part number at a time.
• Communicate with supervision on daily objectives and repack requirements.
• Demonstrate proper lifting techniques.
• Follow plant rules including dress, hair and cell phone usage.
