Job summary

Wabtec Careers is looking for a Remanufacturing Technician in Kansas City, MO. This role involves disassembling, cleaning, requalifying, reworking, and assembling components in compliance with safety and quality protocols. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, at a pay rate of $27.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing and quality procedures in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate ability to document and record inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, clean, requalification, rework, and assembly operations.
• Provide manufacturing support for UX Traction Motor Combo components.
• Inspect work completed for compliance with quality or engineering requirements.

Skills

Ability to use manual equipment and hand tools safely

Working knowledge of inspection measurement equipment

Knowledge of EHS procedures and policies

Education

High school diploma / GED preferred
