Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Remanufacturing Service Technician to disassemble, requalify, and rework locomotive traction motor components. You will inspect, repair, and test finished assemblies using manual and automated equipment, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related manufacturing experience; forklift and overhead crane experience is preferred. Training and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of related manufacturing experience.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Experience with analytical testing and quality procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble locomotive traction motor components.
• Operate manual and automated production equipment per procedures.
• Follow Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and policies.
• Sign off on process documentation for each step performed.
• Utilize measurement tools to ensure quality and engineering compliance.
• Assist in training teammates and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
