Kids for the Future in Waynesboro, GA is seeking a Production Associate for the 2nd shift to prepare Reactor winding and core assemblies for CVT EMU units. The role involves winding wire, insulating paper, soldering taps, and assembling coils with precision.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and the initiative to maintain quality and production logs while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand information and ideas in writing.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Verify material against work order and inspect for damage.
• Load paper tubes on winding machines and apply wire and paper per instructions.
• Assemble windings on core, gap and band, apply crimps to tap leads.
• Ensure quality; do not pass damaged product to next workstation.
• Maintain daily/weekly production logs and follow SOPs/JSA.
• Communicate with operators from other shifts and keep area clean.
