Job summary

Snelling Staffing Greenville currently seeks a Manufacturing Associate to prepare coils for the final stages of building and testing to meet quality specifications. Training precedes 2nd shift, with a $2/hr shift differential once moved to 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include assembling and wiring with lugs/crimps, sanding, and handling lead wires with proper PPE. Prior manufacturing experience preferred; HS diploma or equivalent is welcome.

Primary Objective of Position

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures to include proper use of required PPE.
• Bend, shape, cut, and solder wires/lugs.
• Attach wires using lugs/crimps.
• Perform sanding of wires as part of preparation process.
• Pull lead wires and sleeving.
• Use pneumatic/hydraulic crimping tools.
• Utilize lift assistance to handle products weighing more than 50 pounds.
• Participate in physical inventory activities.
• Meet established efficiency and productivity standards.
• Maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards.
• Additional or updated duties as business demands change.

Experience

Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical Demands

Rate is $15/hr. w/$2 2nd shift diff

1st shift training: 6A-2:30P

2nd shift: 3P-11:30P

This is a 2nd shift job. Training is on 1st shift. Shift differential of $2/hr will be added after training and upon move to 2nd shift.
