Description
Prepare Low Voltage and High Voltage for CVT Electromagnetic Unit (EMU). LV Winding typically involves application of heavy gauge magnet wire of approximately 70 turns/winding. Three windings possible. Paper insulation and wire sleeving is applied as required in the work instructions. The HV Winding typically involves
application of small gauge wire with 6000 to 8000 turns. Taps are required to be soldered inside of the winding. Paper insulation and wire sleeving is applied as required by the work instruction. Miscellaneous taping and crimping is required.
Working conditions are consistent with that of a manufacturing environment: loud, high-heat, and fast-paced. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds and strict adherence to PPE protocols. Equipment operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses and steel toe shoes; loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. Hair that touches the shoulders must be pinned up so as not to touch the shoulder.
