Job summary

Holt Technical Staffing is seeking a Quality Inspector – Aerospace in Manchester, CT. The role demands inspecting aerospace components, interpreting drawings, and applying GD&T to ensure conformance.

You will work with CMM and FARO Arm equipment, performing first-piece, in-process, and final inspections. Primary duties include documenting quality records, identifying non-conformances, and contributing to MRB workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Experience with CMM equipment is preferred

Quality Inspector – Aerospace

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift Available

We are currently supporting a leading Aerospace manufacturing company based near Manchester, CT, in the search for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established aerospace manufacturer, responsible for inspecting, documenting, and certifying critical aerospace components to ensure they meet strict quality and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure components meet dimensional tolerances.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Identify and report non-conformances through NCM and MRB processes.
• Operate inspection equipment including CMM, FARO Arm, borescope, calipers, and micrometers.
• Apply GD&T principles to dimensional inspection.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience within an aerospace or precision manufacturing environment.
• Experience performing first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Experience using CMM equipment is preferred.
• Exposure to FARO Arm inspection is advantageous.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

1st Shift

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

2nd Shift

• Monday – Friday
• 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM
• 10% shift differential
