Techneeds LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector to support aerospace and defense manufacturing in Exeter, NH. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections on parts used in land vehicles, aircraft, and space systems, ensuring conformance to GD&T and blueprints.

You will review CoC, CoA, and FAIR documentation, and work closely with production teams to identify and report defects, write DMRs, and coordinate RTV activities in a fast-paced 2nd shift (3 pm–12 am) on a 9/80 schedule.

Formación

• 2+ years of mechanical/dimensional inspection experience.
• Strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills.
• Experience reviewing CoC, CoA and FAIR documentation.
• Able to write DMRs and coordinate RTV processes.

Our client is looking for a Quality Inspector to support their mission-critical work in the aerospace and military defense industry. This position involves inspecting and measuring parts used in land vehicles, aircraft, and space systems, ensuring every product meets strict quality standards through dimensional and visual inspections. As a Quality Inspector, you will work closely with production teams to identify errors, review documentation like CoC, CoA, and FAIR, and utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, height gages, and pin gages. Your attention to detail and understanding of GD&T (blueprint reading) will be essential in maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced, 2nd shift (3 pm–12 am) environment on a 9/80 schedule. Work Schedule

Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–12:00 AM, 9/80 schedule

Required Skills, Education and Experience

• 2+ years of experience with mechanical/dimensional inspection and the use of precision measurement tools (calipers, height gages, pin gages, verniers)
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Experience reviewing Certificates of Conformance (CoC), Certificates of Analysis (CoA), and FAIR documentation
• Ability to write Defective Material Reports (DMRs) and coordinate Return to Vendor (RTV) processes
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills to identify and report errors during in-process inspections
