Job summary

ConMet in Canton, NC is seeking an experienced Quality Auditor to support our Operations departments on the second shift (2:30pm - 11pm). You will perform in-process inspections and 1st piece inspection, provide auditing support, and document activities on the Audit Report to ensure quality and compliance across manufactured goods.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of related experience or training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections of manufactured goods.
• Provide auditing support to other areas as directed or requested by management.
• Perform 1st piece inspection and approval of product quality prior to start of production run.
• Perform specialized quality testing such as gloss, color analysis, film thickness, adhesion, caliper measurements etc. that may be required by the part specific work instructions.
• Document shift activities on the area Audit Report.
• Document and controls non-conforming products; complete HOLD tag reporting per work instruction, as needed.
