Job summary

ConMet in Canton, NC is seeking a Quality Auditor to support our Operations teams. The role focuses on in-process inspections of manufactured goods and maintaining strict quality controls on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections of manufactured goods.
• Provide auditing support to other areas as directed or requested by management.
• Perform 1st piece inspection and approval of product quality prior to start of production run.
• Perform specialized quality testing such as gloss, color analysis, film thickness, adhesion, caliper measurements etc. as required by work instructions.
• Document shift activities on the area Audit Report.
• Document and control non-conforming products; complete HOLD tag reporting per work instruction.
