Job description

Monitors all aspects of quality, including raw materials through finished, packaged products to ensure only the highest quality products are manufactured for the consumer. This position works Monday-Friday from 1:30pm-10pm with occasional Saturdays and all overtime is mandatory. This position involves a lot of walking throughout the plant, so applicants should be used to spending 8+ hours a day on their feet. Only excellent attendance need apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitors quality of raw materials through finished products that includes, scheduling receiving and storage of raw materials

Performs quality analyses, shelf life testing, and quality improvement testing (salt level, moisture level, free fatty acid level, raw potato attributes, etc.).

Performs directed research and development tasks.

Monitors and maintains product specification information.

Communicate good and poor QA results for continuous improvement of products to all levels of the organization.

Other duties as assigned.

Skills Needed:

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of the organization.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
