Job summary

Intellibee Inc seeks an experienced Prototype Weld Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift welding and fabrication team in Fair Haven. This hands-on leadership role combines supervision with active participation in welding prototype components for automotive and other advanced manufacturing programs.

You will supervise welders and fabricators, ensure safety and quality, and drive on-time delivery while coordinating with engineering to refine welding processes for new prototypes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience in prototype or low-volume manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols and engineering drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small team of welders and fabricators on 2nd shift.
• Assign and prioritize work to meet prototype schedules and deadlines.
• Monitor workflow for quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Provide coaching, training and performance feedback to team members.
• Coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment and tools.
