Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related Electric Boat welding experience.
• Minimum of 3 year combined relevant welding experience and leadership experience in a construction setting.
• Minimum of 1 year EB experience and an Engineering degree in a related field.
• Must be available to work all shifts, including extended hours and weekends as business needs dictate.
• Must possess strong PC skills including proficiency with the MS Office suite.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the department of defense.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily assignments and oversee employees to ensure performance, efficiency and quality.
• Organize and assign work to hourly staff to meet safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives.
• Continuously improve operations, reduce work order span times and streamline processes.
• Mentor and motivate crew; communicate effectively with subordinates and supervisors.
• Assign departments and shifts based on business needs.
