Job summary

STS Technical Services is seeking a Welder / Fabrication Lead for the 2nd shift in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You will supervise welding and fabrication operations, ensuring work meets specifications while upholding safety guidelines and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on welding/fabrication leadership experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a drive to support a growing production environment in a private manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a leadership role, preferably in welding/fabrication.
• Welding or fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to monitor employee performance and output.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 2nd shift welding and fabrication operations.
• Ensure production work is completed to specifications.
• Ensure employees work within established safety guidelines.
• Monitor employee performance and work output.
• Troubleshoot production, welding and fabrication issues as needed.
• Support problem-solving efforts on the shop floor.
• Maintain attention to detail throughout production activity.
• Help drive team performance, safety and production success.
