Job summary

Liberty Diversified International (LDI) is seeking a Production Technician for our 2nd shift to support welding, machine operation and material handling across multiple processes. You will work with independence to maintain safety, quality and productivity while helping launch our new 2nd shift operation in Milford, IA.

The role involves setting up fabrication equipment, reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and collaborating across departments to meet production priorities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to operate forklift or obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding activities to established quality standards.
• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment including lasers, press brakes, and other fabrication machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, routings, and production schedules.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials and finished goods.
• Support material flow activities including loading, unloading, staging, and movement of materials between work centers.
• Complete in-process quality inspections and verify products meet specifications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve routine production issues with limited supervision.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and quality documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety and productivity.
